Strategically located at the heart of ASEAN, Malaysia is one of the region’s most affluent economies. This year, Startup Terrace will select 11 outstanding Taiwanese startups to participate in a short-term landing program in Kuala Lumpur. As part of the program, teams will also take part in the prestigious Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention (SDEC), leveraging it as a launchpad to explore the ASEAN market, integrate into the local startup ecosystem, and uncover business opportunities and strategic resources.
In previous editions, six high-potential Taiwanese startups in fields such as green technology, e-commerce, and ICT successfully joined the program. Through training sessions and business matchmaking in Malaysia, these teams engaged in numerous partnership discussions and built a strong local network. With key connections across Malaysia’s public, private, and academic sectors, the program serves as a trusted platform for startups aiming to expand into the Malaysian market.
Selected startups will receive:
- A subsidy of NTD 20,000 (tax included) per team for international business development
- Access to online and on-site training sessions
- Exposure and promotional opportunities at SDEC
- Tailored business matchmaking with investors, potential clients, and partners across Southeast Asia
